I am excited to announce that the Orange County Housing Authority (OCHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program applications are now open! 

OCHA recently opened up the waitlist for Section 8 housing voucher waitlist for the first time in 10 years. OCHA jurisdiction oversees all cities and unincorporated areas of Orange County, except for the cities of Anaheim, Garden Grove, and Santa Ana, which have their own Housing Authority. 

I am proud to host a Sign-up and Information Session event to help submit housing voucher applications electronically.

This event is hosted in partnership with Latino Health Access and OC Housing Authority to assist residents who may not have access to a computer, lack transportation, or require further assistance to submit their applications online.  

While paper applications are available at participating city halls, Orange County Public Library branches, and select community organizations, we strongly encourage submitting applications electronically as this ensures a confirmation receipt of your submission.
